Episode 5: MSF Course Slalom

The Kawasaki Versys X 300 handles low-speed parking lot drills like a champ, but there is one quirk that makes these slow maneuvers a little tricky. Slipping the clutch can make the motorcycle slalom smoother. Unfortunately, the light clutch can be difficult to feel. It all works in the end, though, and I think the Kawasaki Versys X 300 is the best mini adventure motorcycle for my outdoor adventures.

The Kawasaki Versys X 300 has been a *nearly* perfect beginner adventure motorcycle. It had better be; this is actually my first motorcycle. The Versys borrows the 12,000-RPM motor from the sporty Ninja 300, planting it into a taller ADV motorcycle frame and cladding it with attractive fairings. The resulting mini adventure motorcycle can zip along highways and B roads, then hit the dirt and gravel for off-road adventures.
