Episode 1: Turning this Old Newbie into an ADV Motorcycle Rider
I want to go camping and backpacking, but cars are boring. All I need is the right motorcycle to carry me and my gear to outdoor adventure. Kiki, my evil AI assistant, thinks a budget adventure motorcycle will be perfect for me; specifically, the Kawasaki Versys X 300. The Versys X is a mini adventure motorcycle, perfect for a beginner adventure motorcycle rider like me. But riding skill isn't immediate. Can the MSF RiderBasics course get me a good jumpstart into ADV motorcycling?

The MSF course was a good choice for me. The teachers forced me out of my comfort zone, making me deal with the basics of riding, then moving on to tricky slow-speed drills. If you want the best beginner motorcycle kickstart, I think this is it. I spent many, many hours after the class on the MSF drills, and each time I felt more confident and capable. I highly recommend it.
